Barns and Structures of Creative Intrest

On a trip through Hood River Valley for a wedding shoot, my friend Kathy and I stopped at every photo op we could to shoot just for the fun of it. We had a great time getting to satiate our need to try to capture what our eye sees as interesting. And with no spouses or children to get annoyed with us careening of the road every 5 minutes, it was a pleasure. Although it was the longest drive to Hood River on record for me. I will share quite a few in a few seperate posts, and belive me, I dumped a lot of them before getting to this. It is funny how sometimes you think you see something interesting, and then a month later it is not what you thought at all.

This barn is a style I like, it was an older structure but had a very shiny new red metal roof, it took away from the feel a bit, but with a little color adjustmants, I really like it.

Liked this place, an imaculantly tidy white farm house with this barn on a rolling green knoll with oak trees. It was great, I'd live there in a heartbeat.

The road going past this building with the colors etc., I always like a road leading somewhere, and wonder just where it may go. The possibilities are endless, for me, a road in a photgraph is a sign of potential, possibility, adventure, not knowing where a path may lead. Even though in reality, it probably leads to something mundane, like the dumpster, it is still the possibility.
